Welcome to EdLooker ("EdLooker," "we," "our," or "us"). By accessing, registering, or using the EdLooker platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

1. About EdLooker
EdLooker is an AI-powered staffing workflow and recruitment management platform designed for corporates, organizations, educational institutions, staffing agencies, recruiters, and HR teams.

The platform facilitates:

• Recruitment workflows
• Candidate management
• Interview scheduling
• Onboarding coordination
• Timesheet workflows
• Reporting and invoicing
• Team collaboration and workforce operations

EdLooker currently facilitates staffing workflows and invoicing only and does not directly process payroll payments.

2. Eligibility
By using EdLooker, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years old.
• Information submitted by you is accurate and complete.
• You are legally authorized to represent your organization where applicable.
• You will maintain updated account information.

3. Account Registration & Security

• Registration may require email verification and administrative approval.
• Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials.
• Users are responsible for all activities conducted under their accounts.
• EdLooker reserves the right to suspend, reject, or terminate accounts for misuse, fraudulent activity, or violations of these Terms.

4. User Roles
EdLooker may provide access to different user roles, including:

• Clients / Corporates/ Organizations / HR Teams
• Staffing Agencies
• Individual Recruiters
• Team Members invited by organizations

Available permissions and features may vary by role.

5. User Responsibilities
Users agree to:

• Upload only accurate and authorized information
• Obtain necessary consent before uploading candidate or employee information
• Comply with applicable labor, employment, privacy, and anti-discrimination laws
• Maintain confidentiality of platform information

Users may not:

• Submit fraudulent or misleading information
• Attempt unauthorized access to the platform
• Upload harmful software or malicious content
• Copy, scrape, reverse engineer, or exploit platform data
• Use the platform for unlawful or unethical activities

6. Candidate & Recruitment Information
Users are responsible for:

• Verifying candidate qualifications, licenses, and certifications
• Ensuring candidate information is lawfully collected
• Obtaining consent before sharing resumes or personal information

EdLooker does not guarantee:

• Hiring outcomes
• Candidate suitability
• Employment continuity
• Placement success

Final hiring decisions remain solely the responsibility of users.

7. AI-Assisted Features
EdLooker may use AI-powered systems, automation tools, analytics, or recommendation engines to assist with:

• Resume analysis
• Candidate matching
• Recruitment workflows
• Reporting and operational insights

AI-generated outputs are intended to support recruitment operations only and should not be the sole basis for employment decisions. Users are responsible for independently reviewing and verifying hiring decisions.

8. Background Verification Disclaimer
Unless explicitly agreed in writing, EdLooker does not independently conduct:

• Criminal background checks
• Employment verification
• Education verification
• Immigration verification
• License verification

Users remain responsible for their own due diligence and compliance checks.

9. Documents & Compliance
Users may be required to upload:

• Business registration certificates
• W-9 forms
• Insurance certificates
• Contracts
• Rate lists
• Compliance-related documents

Users confirm all uploaded documents are authentic, current, authorized, and legally compliant.

10. Payments & Invoicing
EdLooker facilitates invoicing and staffing workflow management only.
Payment obligations, tax responsibilities, employment agreements, and contractor relationships remain solely between the involved parties.
EdLooker is not responsible for:

• Payment disputes
• Tax obligations
• Employment classification disputes
• Delays caused by incorrect payment information

11. Confidentiality
Users agree to maintain confidentiality of:

• Candidate records
• Client hiring information
• Internal communications
• Business-sensitive data

Confidential information obtained through the platform may not be disclosed without proper authorization.

12. Intellectual Property
All platform software, branding, workflows, dashboards, content, designs, and systems remain the property of EdLooker or its licensors.
Users can not:

• Reproduce platform materials
• Reverse engineer systems
• Use EdLooker branding without written permission

13. Platform Availability
EdLooker strives to maintain uninterrupted service but does not guarantee continuous platform availability.
Services may be temporarily affected by:

• Maintenance
• Technical issues
• Security updates
• Feature enhancements

14. International Use
EdLooker may be accessed globally, including from:

• United States
• Malaysia
• European Union countries
• Other jurisdictions

Users consent to international transfer, storage, and processing of information where operationally necessary.

15. Limitation of Liability To the maximum extent permitted by law, EdLooker shall not be liable for:

• Hiring decisions
• Employment disputes
• Candidate misconduct
• Business interruption
• Loss of profits or opportunities
• Third-party system failures
• Data loss or indirect damages

Use of the platform is at the user's own risk.

16. Governing Law
For users operating in Malaysia:

• These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Malaysia.

For users operating in the United States:

• These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, USA.

17. Arbitration & Dispute Resolution
Parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith discussions.
If unresolved:

• Malaysian disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in Malaysia.
• U.S. disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in Texas, USA.

Where permitted by law, users waive participation in class-action lawsuits.

18. Privacy
Use of EdLooker is also governed by the Privacy Policy.

19. Updates to Terms EdLooker may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
